About Hoover Athletic Association
Our Mission
The mission of Hoover Athletic Association is to provide premier youth sport programs for the residents of Hoover and to create a safe environment focused on families and friendships. We seek to provide young athletes with the tools to develop successfully not only in the skills of their sport but also in the skills of life – honesty, discipline, patience, self-control, integrity and perseverance.
History
The Hoover Athletic Association (HAA) was established in 1965 to provide a suitable place for the promotion and encouragement of athletic recreation, including youth baseball, football and cheerleading, where boys and girls can meet and participate in sports, as well as other activities designated by the HAA Board under organized and supervised conditions.
